Host Application

Help build Arizona’s first public vape drop-off network.

ResQ is selecting business hosts for a 15-location pilot built around simple, visible collection for household nicotine vapes voluntarily dropped off by patrons.

The best hosts are places people already visit, trust, and return to. If your location has steady foot traffic, a monitored indoor area, and comfort with sponsor-supported signage, you may be a strong fit for the pilot or future expansion.

ResQ Vapes public drop-off bin in a retail setting
A public bin should feel obvious, useful, and easy to monitor. Hosts provide the location. ResQ provides the program structure, accepted-material rules, and sponsor-ready pilot model.
15 locations Initial Arizona pilot network.
Household only Voluntary patron drop-offs, not business waste.
Sponsor-supported Built for useful visibility, not clutter.
Good Host Fits

Places where people can drop off a vape while they are already there.

We are looking for responsible, accessible businesses that can make collection feel normal and easy without turning it into extra work for staff.

Retail

Vape and smoke shops

Strong fit when the bin can be placed near the counter and staff can keep the program limited to accepted household nicotine vapes.

Local

Barbershops, salons, and service businesses

Great for repeat foot traffic, loyal customers, and locations where a small collection bin can stay visible and clean.

Community

Gyms, lounges, and adult-focused venues

Useful where patrons visit often and the location can support simple signage, basic monitoring, and clear drop-off rules.

Expansion

Convenience and high-traffic retail

Potential future fits when the site has steady adult traffic, room for a bin, and comfort with sponsor-supported public collection.

Pilot Boundaries

The host bin is for one stream only.

Public pilot bins are designed for household consumer nicotine vapes voluntarily dropped off by patrons. Keeping that stream clean protects the program and keeps the pilot useful.

Accepted: household nicotine vapes from patrons. Disposable nicotine vape devices brought in by consumers for voluntary drop-off during normal business visits.
!
Not for business waste or regulated inventory. No expired stock, overstock, recalls, returns, employee trash, workplace waste, or confiscated devices in the public host bin.
!
Not for damaged, leaking, or altered devices. No swollen, hot, leaking, crushed, taken-apart, loose-battery, loose-liquid, THC, cannabis, hemp, or CBD products.
Hosts should be comfortable with sponsor branding. The pilot is designed to be funded by community business sponsors. Sponsor placement will be matched to the location and audience.
Campus note: schools, campuses, and youth-facing locations are handled differently. ResQ does not allow nicotine product advertising on campus placements.
